About WealthLab

How WealthLab produces source-backed VPS, Docker, Ghost, hosting, and software guides, including its experience and editorial accountability.

WealthLab.life is an independent operations publication for readers choosing and running practical cloud infrastructure: VPS servers, Docker applications, Ghost and WordPress sites, backups, monitoring, and small production systems.

The publication is operated on a live self-hosted Ghost 6 and Docker stack. That operating work informs the site's guidance on reverse proxies, MySQL, SMTP, analytics, monitoring, backups, updates, and recovery. It does not mean every provider or product mentioned has been purchased or tested.

What WealthLab publishes

  • VPS and cloud-hosting comparisons focused on workload fit rather than a universal winner.
  • Self-hosting guides for Docker, reverse proxies, CMS platforms, databases, backups, and monitoring.
  • Operational checklists for launch, migration, security, troubleshooting, and recovery.
  • Software buying guides that examine compatibility, licensing, privacy, and total cost.
  • Editorial notes that explain when not to buy, upgrade, or over-engineer.

How articles are produced

Technical and commercial claims are checked against current primary sources such as official documentation, product pages, support material, license terms, and release notes. When an article includes a direct observation or a hands-on test, it should describe what was tested. When it is based on documentation and editorial analysis instead, it should not imply first-hand use.

Guides favor conservative defaults, reversible changes, explicit failure modes, and recovery steps. Prices, availability, promotions, interfaces, and terms can change, so time-sensitive claims include a review date and point readers back to current official information.

How recommendations work

Some pages include referral links. A referral relationship does not decide the recommendation. Workload fit, documentation, cost clarity, region availability, support boundaries, reliability, and operational risk come first.

Provider pages aim to explain best-fit cases, non-fit cases, limitations, and what a reader should verify before spending money. Strong non-affiliate choices may be included when they better fit the reader.

Editorial accountability

The byline “WealthLab” identifies the publication's editorial account. Factual corrections, outdated sources, broken links, and disclosure concerns can be reported through the contact page. The methodology explains evidence standards, and the affiliate disclosure lists current referral relationships.
